Lessons From Elimelech
Preached 1-23-2022 Ruth 1:1-5
Here we have the story of a man by the name of Elimelech who made a tragic decision for his family.
In seeking to preserve his family he decided to get outside of the will of the Lord and uproot his family away from the Lord and go into a heathen land.
In this process he lost everything and his wife returns to Bethlehem impoverished and with nothing!
