Today is Easter, better known to us as resurrection Sunday. This is the actual time of the year that our Lord arose from the dead. There is some controversy about the day that our Lord was crucified, but there is no controversy over the day he was resurrected. It was the first day of the week, after the Passover. The fact of the resurrection is the most important event in the history of mankind.
